Here are the latest election results from the November 3 races.
Madeline Singas, Acting District Attorney since January 2015 has won with 57.93 percent of the votes to beat Town of Hempstead Supervisor Kate Murray as District Attorney, 113,110 to 82,028.
Democrat Judi Bosworth was reelected as Town of North Hempstead Supervisor, running the fifth largest township in the United States, with 63.22 percent of the votes against Republican challenger Anthony Bulzomi, 20,122 to 9,587.
Anna Kaplan (D) was reelected as Town of North Hempstead Fourth District Councilwoman with 65.84 percent of the votes. She ran against Republican challenger, Mary Kay Barket, 3,101 to 1,608.
In a close race, 6th District Town of North Hempstead Councilwoman Dina De Giorgio (R) won with 51.77 percent of the vote over challenger Emily Beys (D) 48.21 percent of the vote) 3,378 votes vs. 3,146 votes
Ellen Birnbaum (D), the 10th Legislative District incumbent, was reelected with 62.68 percent of the votes over Lisa Benjamin (R), 5,300 to 3,014.
Charles Berman (D, WFP, I) was reelected as Town of North Hempstead Receiver of Taxes with 65.08 percent of the votes over Scott D. Diamond (R, C), 18,947 to 10,157.
