Floral Park Memorial High School’s Ecology Club recently held its annual beach cleanup. Twenty-three students worked together to clean up around Zach’s Bay at Jones Beach, under the direction of adviser and science teacher Rosanne Mamo. In all, the students accumulated 38 pounds of garbage, 118 pounds of wood and 43 pounds of other items.
