When you step through the striking black doors of Blue Moon Project at 194 Main St., you are immediately welcomed into the creatively designed “industrial Zen” space, inspiring music and positive energy. The once vacant eyesore has been completely transformed into an instant reprieve from the hustle-bustle outside.

Your own transformation has just begun, as Blue Moon Project offers every step to feeling your best from the inside out. The mission of owners Michele Arnold and Helen Oh is to bring fitness, wellness and presence to everyday living for everyone is translated into a selective array of contemplative practices, total body workouts and aesthetic services.

From achieving a strong mind-body connection through martial arts, meditation, yoga and Pilates to higher energy Zumba and Fight Fit classes, to looking aglow with Total Eclipse MedSpa services, you will really feel great in every way. Arnold said, “After my lifelong struggle with arthritis, I developed a serious illness from the medication that lasted for three years. I was able to battle though it by practicing meditation and mindfulness, and I truly believe that anything is possible. This project is my way of sharing this mindset with others.”

The cornerstone of Blue Moon Project, its Champions of Life TaeKwonDo program, attracts practitioners from age 4 through adult to learn not only the fundamental martial arts techniques, but also the life skills that help bring successful results in school, work and social interactions. Along with form, kicking, breaking and sparring, the Blue Moon TaeKwonDo curriculum emphasizes mindfulness teachings, self-confidence and character development.
