Lifestyle-apparel brand, Digmi, recently celebrated the three-year anniversary of its first brick and mortar store, Digmi Nation, located at 114 Main St. in Port Washington. Digmi is owned by former New York Mets farmhand and Long Island Ducks star, Ray “Digmi” Navarrete. The anniversary celebration featured a special entrance with signage on the Bow Ties Cinemas movie theatre marquee as well as a champagne toast for family, friends and customers. All guests who attended also enjoyed a one-day special sale of 50 percent off Digmi’s entire collection of products.
“Celebrating three years here in Port Washington means a great deal to me and our entire team,” said Ray Digmi. “This store has become our first home for the brand and has allowed our team to design and develop a great line of products for our fans and customers. The support the Port community has shown over the years continues to remind us why we do what we do. It’s been an incredible experience so far.”
DIGMI was founded in Brooklyn in 2004. It offers a collection of T-shirts, sweatshirts, polos, hats and accessories for both men and women. Digmi’s popularity has risen with the continued support of the some of biggest names in professional sports. “The Guy In The Tie” has recently been worn by some of Major League Baseball’s biggest stars, including Toronto Blue Jays slugger Jose Bautista and New York Mets star pitchers Jacob deGrom and Noah Syndergaard. Digmi has recently been seen on major television networks like FOX Sports, ESPN and the MLB Network, as well as being featured on many social media platforms.
