Vito Trapani, a longtime member of the Roslyn Chamber of Commerce, was recently honored as a Small Businessman of the Year by the Nassau Council of Chambers of Commerce.
Trapani received the honor at the council’s 31st annual award ceremony.
In attendance was State Senator Jack Martins (R–Mineola), who congratulated Trapani on his award.
Trapani, a member of the chamber’s Board of Directors, currently works as a representative for National Energy Connection in helping people utilize solar energy technology for homes.
In other chamber news, there will be a Holiday Party on Monday, Dec. 14, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Mim’s Restaurant, 235 Roslyn Rd. Cost for chamber members is $30.00. Cost for any additional members is $55.00. The evening includes an appetizer, salad, entree, dessert and beverages.
