The Our Lady of Victory CYO track team had an outstanding cross country season. OLV won the CYO Diocesan Championships in five different age divisions, defeating 20 other parishes in the annual Cross Country Championship meet at Alley Pond Park last month. The results:
Novice Girls (7-8) 1st Place: Caralinn Beck, Natalie Osorio, Fiona So, Cecilia Kane, Chloe Ziegler, Francesca Popp.
Novice Boys (7-8) 1st Place: Max Krapf, Michael Donovan, Colin Sweeney, Daichi Mezzetti, Xavier Milano, Mick Byrne, (Christian Pichardo, Rocco Nicolosi).
Bantam Girls (9-10) 3rd Place: Julia Mills, Isabella Popolizio, Chaewon Vitale, Courtney Skahill.
Bantam Boys (9-10) 1st Place: Alex Addison, Danny Johnson, Chris Skahill, Jason Alperin, Enda Heaney, Greg Tam, Connor Ronan, Andrew Addison, David Navas, Henry Smith, John Donovan, Brian Dillon, (Harrison Candelario, Cooper Hearne).
Junior Girls (11-12) 1st Place: Lauryn Heskin, Michelle Ashbahian, Helen Moloney, Caroline Chun, Erin Barker, Eushin Vitale, Kiera Shanahan, Sofia Barongi.
Junior Boys (11-12) 1st Place: Owen O’donnell, Kenny Procacci, David Johnson, Ben Sweeney, Brian Rettig, Owen Moloney.
Senior Girls (13-14) 2nd Place: Rosemarie Harnett, Krista Gliszczynski, Sara Donovan.
