Members of Sewanhaka Central High School District’s Board of Education celebrated the recent academic and musical accomplishments of several district students at its board meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 24.
Superintendent of Schools Dr. Ralph Ferrie joined the board in recognizing 13 students who were named commended scholars by the National Merit Scholarship Program for their outstanding achievement, including Floral Park Memorial’s Pawan Mirchandani and Mahesh Tiwari; and Sewanhaka High School’s Daniel Drucker and Sydney Saint-Hilaire.
