All-State Honors For Ashley Lessen

Wheatley junior Ashley Lessen has earned All-State status in girls’ tennis for the third consecutive year. After completing a spectacular regular season, Lessen competed against top singles players at the 2015 Nassau County Girls Tennis Championships. Through five grueling rounds, Lessen defeated higher seeded players, finishing third and earning her third All-State recognition.

Lessen has competed on the Wheatley Varsity Tennis team as first singles since seventh grade. She remains a nationally ranked tennis player. Recently, Lessen represented The Wheatley School and Nassau County at the New York State Public High School Tennis Championships in Albany.
