Cub Scout Pack 776 teamed up with Mission America to help Adopt-A-Battalion, an organization that ships care packages to troops de
ployed overseas, as well as assists the local Veterans Association.
The scouts and their families donated supplies and raised $147 to help with shipping costs. The scouts also helped pack up the care packages and made beautiful holiday cards for servicemen and women. Saturday, Dec. 19 was the last collection for 2015.
Adopt-A-Battalion is located at 2 East Gate Rd., Massapequa Park.
