Abbateillo Re-elected As Comissioner

Long Island voters have elected or re-elected water commissioners in 21 commissioner-run water districts within Nassau and Suffolk Counties. The Nassau Suffolk Water Commissioners’ Association (NSWCA), which consists of water commissioners representing 21 Long Island water districts, congratulates and welcomes back to its association re-elected Westbury Water District Commissioner Vincent Abbatiello, who will serve a three-year term beginning Jan. 1, which runs through Dec. 31, 2017. Water district elections are held annually and residents vote for one of three district commissioners in each district.

Water__010616A“I am looking forward to working with my fellow commissioners to continue to deliver the highest quality water and maintain the lowest possible tax rates on behalf of my constituents,” said Abbatiello. “I believe in encouraging conservation efforts and ensuring the long term sustainability of Westbury in particular, and all of Long Island as well.”
