Nassau County Third-Squad detectives are investigating burglary that occurred in Great Neck on Wednesday, Jan. 6, at 6:28 p.m.
According to detectives, two male subjects armed with a handgun entered the Verizon store at 164 Northern Blvd. and ordered the male employee and female customer to the back of the store, where they were ordered to lay on the floor. The subjects proceeded to fill their bags with tablets and smartphones of an undisclosed value, and then fled the store on foot eastbound on Northern Blvd.
No injuries were reported.
Both suspects were described as African-American males. One was wearing a tie-close hooded sweatshirt covering his face, blue jeans and white sneakers. The other was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, black mask, jeans and tan boots.
