nue students recently took place in the National Cardboard Challenge. The challenge was started in 2011 by Los Angeles 9-year-old Caine Monroy, who spent his summer vacation building his own arcade out of cardboard boxes in his dad’s auto body shop. He was discovered by a film maker, who partnered up with the Imagination Foundation to make this a worldwide challenge. Now, every year, children around the world are invited to design and build awesome creations using cardboard, recycled materials and imagination.
