Soccer Standout

Congratulations to Westbury High School senior Jonathan Benitez who was chosen to be a member of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America All State Soccer Team. Benitez was recognized by the board of education and his coach, Christopher Valentini, at the board’s meeting last week.

“He’s a leader and a motivator,” Valentini said. “He is one of the most hardworking students I’ve had on the soccer field, and more importantly, in the classroom.”
