Third- through fifth-graders at Charles E. Schwarting Elementary School recently participated in the school’s annual Spelling
Bee.
The top spellers from each class competed for 20 rounds before first-place winner Anthony Piliero took the medal with the word “swollen.” Runner-up was fellow fifth-grader Patrick Flaherty.
