Freeport Shooting Leaves 1 Dead, 1 Wounded

A shooting left a 35-year-old man dead and a 40-year-old man hospitalized in Freeport this week, Nassau County police announced Friday, three days afterward.

Jonathan Isaac and the second victim, whose identity wasn’t released, were shot on Fredrick Avenue at 11:45 a.m. Tuesday, police said.

Both victims were taken to local hospitals, where Isaac died and the second victim remains hospitalized.
