Summer Program At “Yes We Can”

The Town of North Hempstead will be holding a new summer recreation program at the “Yes We Can” Community Center in Westbury this summer.The program begins on June 27, and will include both recreational and fitness activities. The eight-week program, which will run Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., will include new activities such as a field day, picnic, talent show and trips to the movies and bowling.

The eight-week program will cost $200 per person which includes a membership, or an extension of a current membership, to the “Yes We Can “Community Center.
The summer program is limited to 100 participants and registration is currently underway.

To register, please pick up an application at the “Yes We Can” Community Center and return the completed application along with the child’s current physical and full payment to the Community Center. For more information, please call 311.
