In a recent survey published by Niche.com, three Manhasset villages were listed in their Top 10 Best Place to Raise A Family in New York based on public schools, crime rates, cost of living and family-friendly amenities. Flower Hill was ranked number three followed by the Incorporated Village of Plandome in fourth place and the Incorporated Village of Munsey Park as the number five best place to live.
Flower Hill has 4,741 residents. Plandome has 1,430 residents and Munsey Park has 2,712 residents. The villages have very high home values, very high rent costs, and very low unemployment levels. Its citizens generally have very high education levels and very high income levels.
Manhasset was also on the list at number 39 with 7,929 residents with the same characteristics.
