Shivangi Mehta of Hicksville was named to the Union College Dean’s List for the spring 2016 semester. Mehta is a member of the Class of 2016, majoring in political science and classics. To be named to the dean’s list, Union students must have a grade point average of 3.5 for the entire year and meet certain other requirements.

Leanne Shinnick of Hicksville has reserved a place among more than 1,500 freshmen at SUNY Oswego. She last attended Kellenberg Memorial High School and intends to major in biology. Fall 2016 classes will begin Aug. 29.
