I, as a resident of Floral Park and taxpayer to Nassau County, would like to know what the Town of Hempstead government does for us? Giving entertainment and leaflets and some limited advice? We have a battery of lawyers and business people dedicated to the party first. Are they really working for the taxpayers with our dollars? My objections include the Third Track project. It’s strictly a political play for the party needs. Yes, it creates jobs, but so does lots of structural repairs for existing, decaying parts of the LIRR. Shape up or ship out.
