Ronkonkoma Man Killed in Car Crash

A 29-year-old Ronkonkoma man was killed when he crashed his car in Valley Stream on Thursday night.

Nassau County police said Navado Pratt was driving an Infiniti G35 on Peninsula Boulevard when the vehicle left the roadway and crashed into the PSEG Long Island high tension transmission tower at 11:45 p.m.

The victim, who was ejected from the vehicle and was found in the water, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Homicide Squad detectives impounded the vehicle and are continuing the investigation.
