Starting at 12 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 26, there will be several road closures in Uniondale and Hempstead due to the Presidential Debate.
Due to these closures, Hempstead Turnpike traffic will be diverted northbound onto Clinton Road. This will significantly impact traffic on Clinton Road in Garden City. Traffic will also be diverted onto Stewart Avenue.
