Making A Dash For The Finish Line

Residents looking to undo any damage incurred from a hearty Thanksgiving meal did just that during the Village of East Williston’s second annual Drumstick Dash on Friday, Nov. 25. Approximately 50 people registered for the race, which kicked off at Devlin Field and included a Gobble Gallop for children under 5. Proceeds from the race benefited the East Williston Volunteer Fire Department and participants also donated canned food for a local food bank.

Prizes were awarded to the first 15 finishers. The first place male finisher was Devin Brancato, who had a time of 18:57. The first place female finisher was Suzie Potucek, coming in at 21:42.
