Farmingville Man Found Shot to Death in Home

A 54-year-old man was found shot to death in his Farmingville home on Thursday night, Suffolk County police said.

Wayne Booker was found suffering from gunshot wounds in his Iroquois Avenue home after a friend went to the victim’s house to check on his welfare at 8:25 p.m., police said.

Investigators pronounced Booker dead at the scene.
