The Reconstructionist Synagogue of the North Shore (RSNS) celebrated its first day of Synagogue School with a Jewish bluegrass jamboree featuring Nefesh Mountain, a musical group that combines Jewish spirit and soul with bluegrass and old-time music. The band’s songs and spirituals draw from the beautiful depths of Jewish culture, illuminated with the timeless sounds of guitar, banjo, mandolin, fiddle, bass and dobro.
