New Hyde Park Memorial High School’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) had a busy month, which included a trip to New York City and a pizza party.
On Dec. 15, 40 FBLA students participated in the school’s annual holiday trip to New York City. The group traveled to Madison Square Garden for a 90-minute behind-the-scenes tour, where they learned the history surrounding the venue. After the tour, students shuffled into the Madison Square Garden Theater to watch a live performance of Elf.
More than 220 FBLA members met to celebrate the holidays with pizza and cake on Dec. 20. Students were also able to sign up for the upcoming spring district meeting competitions in January and High School Heroes in March.
