Always the place of the stars, nuBest Salon was the scene of the latest Women for Singas get together on Monday, May 21.The crowd of more than 100 women of all ages came together regardless of party affiliation to support the endeavors of justice-driven Nassau County District Attorney Madeline Singas. The evening was a delightful mix of beauty, networking and fundraising for the district attorney. Women learned beauty tips and enjoyed services that are integral to the nuBest cadre of services.

Singas addressed the crowd speaking about her surprise at the most recent assignment from Governor Cuomo to prosecute Eric Schneiderman, the former New York State Attorney General. She talked at length about the wonderful work being done in the Freeport rehabilitation facility with patients suffering from opioid addiction and the battle against the opioid epidemic and the work she is faced with.

In attendance were Nassau County Executive Laura Curran and Town of North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth. As a bipartisan group focused on getting women more engaged in the issues affecting their families and community, “Women for Singas” is building on the strong momentum created with the election of women to top positions across Nassau County.

The next event for Women For Singas will occur this summer in Sands Point. To sign up for the event, visit www.madelinesingas.com/womenforsingas to register. For more information, call Kelsey Mahan at 516-253-6465 or email info@madelinesiingas.com.
