Baron
Baron

Available for adoption at Bideawee:

Meet Baron! Rescued just last month, 1-year-old Baron has a way of staring lovingly into your eyes, as if he knows and understands your soul, and loves you immediately. He is very people-oriented and loves spending time with all his friends at Bideawee. He is inquisitive and curious too!

Baron enjoys a good stroll and has a love of discovery. A fun-loving, active home who shares in his lust for life and adventure would be ideal!

Luke 1
Luke

Four-year old Luke has been waiting at Bideawee for his forever home since September 2017. Luke has that classic mixed-breed look with a soft fur coat, white patches on his chest and nose and a big grin on his face! Luke also has a special characteristic that sets him apart from his canine companions: he only has three legs.

This unique difference doesn’t slow him down at all though. He’s still active, playful and enjoys his daily strolls. In fact, being outside is one of his favorite activities.

He loves the fresh air and he’ll start to really relax after a long walk or an energetic game of fetch. Luke is very sweet with people and enjoys snuggling. However, Luke is pickier about other animals, so he’d flourish being with an adult-only family where he can be the only four-legged family member.

Casanova
Casanova

Meet one of Bideawee’s newest cats, Casanova! He is a handsome 2-year-old boy that is as charming and flirtatious as his name might suggest. Bold and cavalier, Casanova enchants in all his ways.

Just caress him once and he will melt into your hands and into your heart with endless love. Being so affectionate, he’d be wonderful in almost any household.

Amana 1
Amana

This gorgeous girl is named Amana. She is a six-year-old Domestic Shorthair mix who came to Bideawee in December 2017 after her owners could no longer care for her. Amana is a special cat in need of a gentle and loving home.

She can be quite loving once she’s comfortable in her surroundings, but she’s very nervous in new places. She requires a patient owner who will help her feel at home in a new environment. Once Amana trusts you though there’s no greater feeling.

She’ll snuggle up to you for attention. Either rubbing along your legs or curling up against your side. Amana lives with other cats at Bideawee and may be able to go home to another friendly feline.

Casey 1
Casey

Available for adoption through the Nassau County SPCA:

Even though Casey was hit by a car and left to die, it doesn’t hamper this little girl’s spirit at all! This special-needs sweetheart would truly make an amazing companion and would show her new owner everyday how much having her own home would mean to her. If you or someone you know is interested in adopting Casey, please email mmora@ncspca.us for more information.

Available for adoption at North Shore Animal League America:

Rattan and Wicker (reference #’s H209619/20) are a devoted pair of sisters! Rescued locally, Wicker is quietly exploring her surroundings while Rattan makes her feelings very clear as she sings for your attention. These young beauties will thrive in a peaceful, predictable home.

Just a little gentle persuasion will win them over and they’ll quickly exemplify why two cats are better than one. These girls come alive in the company of other cats but will do best with children 12 and up in age who can assure them they are safe and loved.

Please email DoritS@animalleague.org for more information.

When Autumn (reference # H209638) arrived at our NSALA’s Adoption Center from a local rescue, she was frightened and confused. After a short time with our devoted staff and volunteers, this beautiful older kitten has blossomed into a curious friend who enjoys the company of her feline companions. All Autumn needs to succeed in her first home is a nurturing human and a feline friend or two to show her what life in a home is all about.

Ideally a household with children 10 and up in age and a confident cat who can show her the ropes of her new life will be the perfect family for Autumn to spend her life with! Please email DoritS@animalleague.org for more information.

LEGO

Lego (reference # R166271) is no puzzle! This charming adult male (7 ½ years old) has ingratiated himself to everyone he’s met since being rescued from a North Carolina municipal shelter.  Everything about Lego fits together purrfectly, from his stunning fluffy coat, to his amiable personality.  This quiet feline seeks a connection with a human who can appreciate him as much as his shelter family has.  Lego is FIV+ and prefers the predictable peace of a home where he’s the only pet. If he sounds like the piece of your heart that’s been missing, come meet him this weekend!  Please email DoritS@animalleague.org if you’re interested. Pets4Luv 1
