The Foodstock Music Festival and Food Drive raised more than $10,000 to support Long Island food pantries and veterans during the five-hour event Saturday at Bayside Clam Bar in East Islip.

The event was hosted in partnership with RISE Life Services and Jack Morelli Music. The community rallied to support, from the bands that rocked the stage, to the sponsors and guests at Foodstock.

“We were thrilled to host an event where people come together to enjoy great music, and raise money for an extremely important cause,” said Development Manager Melissa Martin. “These musicians donated their time to benefit RISE’s food pantry and support veterans here on Long Island. We were all extremely pleased with the turnout.”
