Sewanhaka Central High School District Board of Education appointed Nichole Allen as the interim principal of Sewanhaka High School effective July 1.
Allen has served as the assistant principal of Sewanhaka High School since 2007. During her tenure, she has made a positive impact in improving student achievement. She is co-creator of the GRAD (Girls: Ready, Able and Determined) mentoring program, a school representative at Apple Inc. and a Dignity for All Students Act (DASA) coordinator. She is also a member of the district’s Wellness Committee, AIS Committee, Excellence and Equity Committee, Articulation Committee and Eligibility Committee.
