Why are you running for Nassau County Legislator?

I was born and raised in District 3, and while I’ve always been proud of our neighborhoods, I’ve also become increasingly aware over the past decade of how often we’re overlooked when it comes to the resources, investment, and representation that other districts around us receive.

As someone who has spent years helping families secure financial stability and working directly with local organizations to build community, I know how much potential exists here. I also know how much more we can accomplish with leadership that not only understands our needs but also has the energy, relationships, and platform to turn that understanding into action.

I believe it’s time for the next generation of leaders to step up: bringing fresh ideas, new life experiences, and a renewed commitment to collaboration on community-centered solutions. I’m running to ensure District 3 has a real voice at the table and a leader who can deliver real results.

What are the top 3 issues Nassau County is facing, and what would you do about them as a legislator?

  1. Lowering the Tax Burden: As a financial professional, I understand how tax policy impacts working families, seniors, and small businesses. I will work to ensure our tax dollars are being used efficiently, advocating for responsible budgeting, smarter infrastructure investments, and the elimination of wasteful spending that drives up the cost of living. I also believe residents deserve more transparency and education around how we are taxed and where increases are coming from, so we can make informed decisions and hold government accountable.
  2. Protecting Quality of Life through Infrastructure and Green Space: Improved roads, safe parks, and clean public spaces are not luxuries. They are necessities that help keep families in Nassau County and attract new ones. I will advocate for more investment in recreational spaces and infrastructure maintenance, especially in underserved parts of the district.
  3. Strengthening Community Voice and Unity: Too often, residents feel disconnected from the decisions that affect our neighborhoods. I want to foster a more open line of communication between the community and our local government, helping residents better understand what is happening and why it matters. I also believe we are stronger when we are united, and I will encourage our community to speak with one voice and work together to advocate for the resources and attention we deserve.
