Students and faculty at Mineola High School came together for an afternoon of fun, competition and school spirit during the annual Battle of the Classes on Feb. 27.

Participants from all grades, teachers and administrators competed in a variety of entertaining challenges designed to test speed, agility and teamwork, including relay races, hula hoop pass, soccer ball shoot-out, rubber chicken leap, musical chairs, tug of war and the brand new Hungry Hippos challenge.

After an action-packed event, the Class of 2026 seniors emerged victorious, with juniors and eighth graders close behind. Sophomores, freshmen and staff also put in a great effort, providing plenty of laughter and memorable moments along the way.

The Mineola High School Battle of the Classes continues to be a highlight of the school year, fostering camaraderie, school pride and lasting memories for all participants.
