A 26-year-old man was declared dead after being found on the side of the Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway on Thursday, March 12, according to the Nassau County Police Department.
Officers responded to the shoulder of the expressway, just south of Old Country Road in Plainview, around 5:35 p.m., where they found an unidentified man, police said. Officers initiated what they called “life-saving measures” before the man was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, police said.
Police said there is an ongoing investigation.
