Garden City Park School’s library was once again turned into a lively gallery of notable figures as the fifth-grade classes presented their annual Biography Wax Museum. The event marked the culmination of the students’ biography writing unit.

Each student chose a person to study, conducting research before writing an essay and a brief speech to highlight the person’s early life, accomplishments and obstacles.

For the museum experience, students came dressed as their chosen figure and delivered their presentations to families, classmates and staff members who stopped by to learn more.

Historical icons and modern-day changemakers filled the room, with portrayals of figures such as Abraham Lincoln, Sabrina Carpenter, Jane Goodall, Michael Jordan and Jackie Chan.
