The highly-anticipated movie “The Loving Story,” is set to premiere Valentine’s Day, during Black History Month 2012 on HBO.

“The Loving Story” is a documentary film and tells the story of Richard and Mildred Loving. It comes as the amazing story of a inter-racial couple who find tremendous hardship just trying to marry.

Richard and Mildred Loving married in Virginia in 1958, the only problem was their race. Weeks later they were arrested for the crime of inter-racial marriage.

“They sentenced us to one year,” said Richard in the trailer that was released this past week. The couple proved that their relationship was stronger than the racism that tried to stop it.  “I’m not going to divorce her,” Richard says in another scene.

It highlights their landmark Supreme Court Case, Loving v. Virginia.
