Obituary: Jane Marie Hahn

Jane Marie Hahn of Locust Valley, know affectionately to her family as “Janie McGrady,” died peacefully on Feb. 15, 2015. Mrs. Hahn was born at home in Glen Cove on Sept. 27, 1925, to James McGrady and Adelaide McGrady (nee Carpenter Small). She was the sister of the late James McGrady, John McGrady and Judy Blankmeyer. Mrs. Hahn was married to her high school sweetheart, William Hahn, for more than 50 years and worked as executive secretary at the Grenville Bakers Boys Club in Locust Valley, where she was also involved with the annual clothing sale fundraiser for more than 30 years. She is survived by her sons, William Hahn of Princess Anne, MD and Bobby Hahn of Locust Valley, daughters-in-law Diane and Denise Hahn and granddaughters Courtney and Brooke Hahn.
