Thomas J. Hayden, 83, of Floral Park, died on Friday, May 1. Former Mayor of Floral Park, coach, writer for The Gateway. Hayden coined the phrase, “Floral Park, A Great Place to Live”. He was a great man who was loved by all.

Loving grandfather of Thomas, Eileen (John), Kelly, Maura, Colleen, Bridget, Conor, Ryan, Shannon and Sean. Cherished great-grandfather of Hayden, Jake, Joseph and Kayla. Dear brother of Dorothy (John).
