CHAT Project At Temple Judea

On Sunday, Jan. 10, 2016, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Temple Judea of Manhasset will host a CHAT (Conversations: Health and Treatments) project.

The chat will be about advanced care planning and end-of-life decision-making. The CHAT project of the North Shore-LIJ Health System and the Maurice A. Dean School of Law of Hofstra University has been designed to help family members communicate better with each other and their clinicians about these sensitive matters so they may have greater peace of mind at difficult times.

Representatives of the North Shore-LIJ Health System and Hofstra Law School will present the program and answer questions.

Temple Judea is at 333 Searingtown Rd. Admission is $5 (payable to Brotherhood of Temple Judea) and includes a bagel brunch. RSVP to brotherhood@temple-judea.com or to 516-621-8049 by Jan. 7, 2016.
