Family Luau Night at Parkwood Pool
Weather cooperated, this warm summer night,
Posing for pictures with hula girl in sight.
Ramp Family Caribbean Band entertaining the guests,
Their musical sound was truly the best!
The band from Trinidad played as many swam,
Dancers joined in, part of the plan.
Games for the little ones created for fun,
Walkers and floaters on the river spun.
A fun-filled, delightful community event,
An evening with family always well spent.
Life guards pulled boats across the pool,
Children enjoyed not thinking of school.
Air brushed tattoos displayed on many an arm,
Some were creative, others had charm.
For energetic patrons there was water basketball,
Cotton candy was a treat, distributed to all.
The evening ended with a star-filled sky,
To a lovely event we all said “Goodbye!”
