Volunteers are needed to help place flags on the graves of veterans at Nassau Knolls Cemetery on Port Washington Boulevard. On Sunday, May 29, from 9 to 11 a.m., volunteers can come to the cemetery and help place the flags on the nearly 300 graves of veterans.shutterstock_30954736

“We have veterans here from World War I, World War II and there are even Civil War veterans here,” said Volunteer Organizer Vic Constantino.

Constantino asks that volunteers bring a screwdriver to make the hole to place the flag. The flags will be supplied.

If you have any questions, call Constantino at 516-883-0479.
