BRG Donates $18K to Long Island Cares

Bohlsen Restaurant Group donated $18,000 to the nonprofit hunger relief organization Long Island Cares on Thursday at Harbor Club at Prime in Huntington.

The donation was the culmination of BRG’s Chefs Against Hunger initiative, a collaboration of some of Long Island’s most well-known culinary talent working together to support the local food-insecure community through a series of intimate chef experiences.

Through the six-part event series held at Tellers in Islip, supporters experienced a variety of unique cuisine by renowned guest chefs such as Tom Schaudel, each with their own flair for LI food.

A portion of the proceeds from each event went toward the donation to Long Island Cares.
