Amy Schumer Learns To Cook Debuts Monday on Food Network

Rockville Centre-raised comedian Amy Schumer and her husband Chef Chris Fischer are serving up a funny new Food Network series, Amy Schumer Learns To Cook.

The series, Schumer’s first since she gave birth to her first son last year, follows the couple’s cooking adventures during the coronavirus lockdown. It promises to satisfy fans’ appetites for new recipes and hearty laughs.

”Some people flip houses, we flip latkes,” Schumer jokes while frying up potato pancakes in a teaser of the first episode posted on FoodNetwork.com 

The 38-year-old actress is known for her sketch series Inside Amy Schumer that ran for four seasons on Comedy Central. She made her film debut with Trainwreck in 2015, authored The Girl With The Lower Back Tattoo the following year, and a starred in the 2018 comedy I Feel Pretty, among other movies. U.S. Sen. Charles Schumer (D-NY) is her second cousin.

The new series Amy Schumer Learns To Cook premiers with back-to-back episodes at 10 p.m. Monday on Food Network.
