The concert will be held at the Great Neck Library, 159 Bayview Ave., on Sunday, Dec. 7, at 2 p.m.
The program includes the Adagio from Mozart’s “Oboe Concerto,” Donizetti’s “Oboe Sonata,” Satie’s “Gymnopédies,” selections from Rameau’s “Les Indes Galantes,” Nielsen’s Fantasiestücke and Albéniz’s “Tango.” Frederick Katzenberg will perform.

He has also toured western New York and Washington, D.C., and has performed at William Paterson University, Ramapo College of New Jersey and the Moravian College Music Institute.
In New Jersey, his recitals have been broadcast on television and online. Katzenberg received a New York State Council on the Arts grant to present a concert series in Putnam County. He premiered in New York and New Jersey the Dace Aperans Juravas (Sea Songs). He also premiered the Walter Skolnik Oboe Sonatina in the same two states.
Before focusing on his solo career, Katzenberg was a member of the Irvington Festival Opera Orchestra and the Westchester Symphony. He co-founded Time’s Trio and the Lexington Woodwind Quintet, later founding the Katzenberg Classical Trio. He has also played in pit ensembles for operas and musicals in New York City and Rockland County. More information is available at frederickkatzenberg.com.
