Manhasset villages head to the polls next week

The Village of Plandome Manor is the only village with contested races this year.

The villages of Flower Hill, Munsey Park, Plandome Heights and Plandome Manor will hold elections on Wednesday, March 18, while the Village of Plandome will hold its election on Tuesday, March 17.

In Plandome Manor, Trustee Patricia O’Neill and Trustee Peter Kulka are running for reelection to two-year terms and are facing challenges from Eric Kattan and Sanaz Sadjadi. Voting will take place at Plandome Manor Village Hall, 55 Manhasset Ave., Manhasset, with polls open from noon to 9 p.m.

In Plandome, Trustee Rich Dunphy is running to complete the final year of a term after he was appointed to finish Don Richardson’s term. Trustee Robert Broderick and Trustee James Corcoran are each running for reelection to two-year terms. The Plandome election will be held at Plandome Village Hall, 65 South Drive, on Tuesday,March 17, with polls open from noon to 9 p.m.

In Flower Hill, Mayor Randall Rosenbaum, Trustee Gary Lewandowski, Trustee Claire Dorfman and Trustee A.J. Smith are all running for reelection to two-year terms. Residents can vote at Flower Hill Village Hall, 1 Bonnie Heights Road, Manhasset, where polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on March 18.

In Munsey Park, Trustee Regina Im and Trustee Gregory Licalzi are running for reelection to two-year terms, and Village Justice John Turano is running for reelection to a four-year term. Voting will take place at Munsey Park Village Hall, 1777 Northern Blvd., Manhasset, with polls open from noon to 9 p.m. on March 18.

In Plandome Heights, several candidates are running under the banner of the Alliance Party. Mayor Kenneth C. Riscica, Trustee Eric Carlson, Trustee Mary Hauck and Trustee Kristina Lobosco are running for reelection to two-year terms. Residents will vote at Plandome Village Hall, 65 South Drive, Plandome, with polls open from noon to 9 p.m. on March 18.
