Port Washington residents will head to the polls Wednesday, March 18, for uncontested village elections, casting ballots to fill trustee positions on their village boards.
Three Port Washington villages will hold elections: Baxter Estates, Port Washington North and Flower Hill.
The Village of Baxter Estates will hold its election at Village Hall, 315 Main St., from noon to 9 p.m.
Trustees Alex Price and Alice M. Peckelis are seeking reelection to two-year terms.


Price was first elected to the board of trustees in 2024. Before that, he served as an alternate member on the village’s Board of Zoning and Appeals. Peckelis has served as a trustee for more than 15 years.
The Village of Port Washington North will hold its election at Village Hall, 3 Pleasant Ave., from noon to 9 p.m.
Trustees Steven Cohen and Michael Malatino are seeking reelection, along with Village Justice Sheldon Greenbaum.
The Village of Flower Hill will hold its election at Village Hall, 1 Bonnie Heights Road, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.




Mayor Randall Rosenbaum, who has served since 2022 and previously as deputy mayor and trustee, is seeking reelection, along with Trustees Gary Lewandowski, Claire Dorfman and A.J. Smith.
Lewandowski is an architect and principal of N2 Design+Architecture PC. Dorfman serves as a senior manager of public policy at Amazon. Smith, a Long Island trial lawyer, is a founding partner of Baxter & Smith and is known for mentoring young attorneys alongside his litigation practice.
