The Town of Oyster Bay has begun its planning for the 2026 Oyster Fest, which will have a new title sponsor for the 43rd annual event.
Property Tax Reduction Consultants, a Plainview-based firm, will be the new title sponsor for the annual waterfront festival.
“I have always enjoyed being part of great community programs, especially those that give back to others. I’m thrilled that Property Tax Reduction Consultants can participate in this year’s Oyster Fest and help make it a great success,” Sean Acosta, the head of Property Tax Reduction Consultants, said.
Town Supervisor Joseph Saladino said the town is “thrilled” to have Property Tax Reduction Consultants as the title sponsor for the event. He praised Acosta and his firm for their continued contributions to the community.
“Sean Acosta is no stranger to philanthropic endeavors, as someone who participates in numerous charitable community projects throughout the year,” Saladino said.
The 2026 Oyster Fest, which is run in partnership with the Town of Oyster Bay and the Oyster Bay-East Norwich Chamber of Commerce, will be held on the weekend of Oct. 17 and Oct. 18.
The event welcomes hundreds of thousands of visitors each year to Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Park in Oyster Bay, where local officials show off the hamlet and its surrounding areas. It features oyster-eating and shucking contests, carnival rides, food trucks, a craft beer garden, live music and artisan vendors.
The Oyster Fest also raises money for local non-profit organizations each year.
In 2025, the event drew over 200,000 attendees, a new record, town officials said.
