A new trustee running unopposed was elected in the Village of Farmingdale and two trustees running unopposed were elected to new terms in the Village of Massapequa Park after the Wednesday, March 18, elections.
The Village of Farmingdale and the Village of Massapequa Park both had two trustee positions and the village justice role up for grabs.
Allison Ingram, running for the first time, received 197 votes, and incumbent Cheryl Parisi received 201 votes, as both were elected to the Village of Farmingdale’s Board of Trustees.
Craig Roasaco, a former trustee, received 196 votes to become the new village justice after Anthony Addeo decided not to seek reelection.
All three positions carry four-year terms beginning in April.
In Massapequa Park, Trustees Dana Durso and Todd Svec received 268 and 286 votes, respectively, to be reelected. Both trustees will begin a new two-year term.
Krista C. Palleschi received 277 votes to remain as the village justice, as she is set to begin a new three-year term.
The village also said that two other residents received write-in votes.
Ingram has lived in Farmingdale for her entire life and currently works as a legal secretary for Cravith, Swaine & Moore, a white-shoe law firm based in New York City. She previously said she began attending board meetings in preparation for her run as a trustee.
As an elected official, Ingram previously said she wants to be approachable to community members and to continue the village’s success.

Parisi has served as a trustee for more than 12 years and currently chairs the village’s Beautification Committee.
She is currently a member of the Farmingdale/Bethpage Historical Society and the co-president of the Women’s Club of Farmingdale. Parisi also previously served as the recording secretary for the St. Luke’s Church Council.
Parisi owns and operates Artistic Concepts, a graphics arts business in the village.

Rosasco is a managing partner at the law firm of Turley, Redmond & Rosasco, which represents both injured residents and veterans of the state. He serves as the chair of the Farmingdale Village Planning Board.
Rosasco is also a member of the Nassau County Bar Association, where he serves on the Grievance Committee and is a member of the Nassau County Colombian Lawyers Association and the Injured Workers Bar Association.

The two Massapequa Park Village incumbents return to the board after years of service in the community.
Durso, a realtor with Signature Premier Properties, has served on the board since 2020.
Svec has lived in Massapequa Park for most of his life and works at Arlo Drug Store, a business he has contributed to for decades and once owned.
