John G. Panagot, of Oyster Bay, died on July 5, 2011. Father of Stephanie (Brandon) Garrett, Leslie, and Johnny. Brother of Dean and the late William T. (Susan). Uncle of Dana, Adam and Meghan. He is survived by many relatives and friends. He was proud to have served in the U.S. Marines during the Vietnam War. Arrangements were made by the Francis P. DeVine Funeral Home, Oyster Bay. Funeral service held at the funeral home. Interment Locust Valley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cooley’s Anemia Foundation National Office, 330 Seventh Ave., #200 New York, NY 10001 (indicate that the donation is for the Long Island Brooklyn Chapter).
