IT Youth Wresting to Sponsor Cowboy Wrestling Camp

On Saturday, July 30 through Aug. 1 the Island Trees High School will host Cowboy Wrestling Camp featuring Oklahoma State Head Coach and two time Olympic Champ John Smith. Smith is arguably America’s greatest wrestler. He won six straight World and Olympic titles from 1987-1992. This will be the first and perhaps only time Smith will give a clinic on Long Island.

This would present a rare opportunity for the sport of wrestling on Long Island and the Island Trees School District should feel a tremendous sense of pride for hosting such an event. Ascend Wrestling Club of Hicksville is presenting the camp. For more information call (917) 449-6098.
