The Fourth Annual Rick Bailey Memorial Turkey Bowl. Watch daytime flag football at MacArthur HS. 4 to 8 p.m. at Mulcahy’s Pub. Open bar, buffet, Live music by Jaded, raffle prizes. Bird Walk at Mill Pond Park

Join the South Shore Audubon Society for a bird walk at Mill Pond Park from 9:30 a.m. to noon. The group will meet at the park on the north side of Merrick Rd., west of the Wantagh State Pky. Fabulous Holiday Fair

The Wantagh Memorial Congregational Church, 1845 Wantagh Ave., Wantagh, will hold its annual holiday fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This year it is bigger and better than ever. Jingle Bell 5K Run/Walk

Join the Arthritis Foundation for its Jingle Bell 5K Run/Walk at Old Bethpage Village Restoration. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. The event is a fun, festive way to kick-off the holidays including a holiday costume contest and Kids Fun Run. Proceeds from the event will allow us to continue providing programs and services to the 500,000 Long Islanders – including children – with doctor-diagnosed arthritis. Holiday Harmonies from Festive Flutes

The LI Flute Club presents a concert featuring a variety of seasonal classics that are guaranteed to put you in the spirit of the season. The 16-member Flute Ensemble will feature all members of the flute family from piccolo to bass flute. The ensemble, directed by Lauren Osnato, will play a variety of festive classics such as The Nutcracker Suite and A Christmas Overture to Parade of the Wooden Soldiers and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. It’s a holiday celebration for children of all ages. Included in the LI Flute Club is Charlotte Loake of Levittown. The concert will be held at 1 p.m. at Old Westbury Gardens and is free with admissions to the gardens. The Edwardian Era Westbury House will be decorated for the season and don’t forget to stop and see Santa Claus.

Shopping Extravaganza/ Chinese Auction

The Gardiners Ave PTA is holding a Shopping Extravaganza and Chinese Auction from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. at 610 Gardiners Ave., Levittown. There will be tons of vendors selling clothes, shoes, toys, baked good, pocketbooks, jewelry, cooking essentials and so much more. The baskets for the auction are filled with high quality items as well as gift certificates, gift cards and sports tickets to all your favorite places. Don’t miss out on this amazing event. Annie Get Your Gun

Based on real-life sharp shooter, Annie Oakley, born Phoebe Anne Moses in Ohio 1860, she performed with Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show. According to Newsday, on July 3, 1922, 62 year old, Annie Oakley gave her final shooting exhibition at the Mineola Race Track. Annie and her husband, Frank Butler rented a house in Amityville in the 1920s. Includes the classic Irving Berlin songs There’s No Business Like Show Business, Anything You Can Do and They Say It’s Wonderful. Performances Dec. 10 at 7:30 p.m., Dec. 11 at 2 p.m., Dec. 17 at 7:30 p.m., Dec. 18 at 2 p.m. at Temple B’nai Torah, 2900 Jerusalem Ave. and Oakfield, Wantagh. Presented by the TBT Junior Players. Senior Citizens Helping the Unfortunate

Melody Makers of L.I. are collecting non-perishable food items for the less fortunate. The food, when collected, will be distributed through Island Harvest. Bring your contributions of food to Maestro Music Center, 160 Center Ln., Levittown, during normal studio hours. The food drive will continue through Nov. 30 and the participation of neighbors would be appreciated.

Support Our Troops Candy Drive

The Soldiers’ Angels Organization needs individually wrapped from manufacturer items: hard candy, Life Savers, licorice, gum, jaw breakers, gum balls, mints, jelly beans, sunflower seeds, nuts, crackers, pretzels, Slim Jim beef jerky (beef only – no pork products), Trail Mix, dried fruit, granola bars, protein bars. No chocolate. Candy/snack donations may be dropped off at Levitstyle, 19 Jerusalem Ave., Levittown. Levittown’s Brass and Percussion

A nonprofit organization that will teach kids, ages 8 to 88, to play an instrument and have fun parading, performing, competing and many social events. Free of charge. Beginners or experienced musicians welcome. Free transportation and instruments if needed. Levittown Career and Technical Center at Abbey Ln. is offering the public salon services performed by students on Fridays from 11:45 a.m. to 2 p.m. Pricing for a haircut, shampoo and style, and manicure is $3. •Introduction to Jewish Prayer on Mondays at 8:15 p.m. Text: To Pray as a Jew by Rabbi Haim Donnin. Instructor Rabbi Alan Lavin. The course is designed for those who would like to learn the history, meaning and structure of the siddur.

Levittown Historical Society and Museum

The organization collects, preserves and educates history of Levittown. Holds seven yearly general meetings in the Community Room of the Levittown Library and maintains the museum located in the Levittown Memorial Education Center, Room 10, 150 Abbey Ln., Levittown. The museum contains history of Levittown, WWII memorabilia, artifacts from the Levitt houses, toys, furniture, clothing of the ‘40s and ‘50s, replicas of the Levitt kitchen and the Levitt ranch living room.
