Presented by Triple Threat Studios. This fun and energetic show follows the story of Evan Goldman as he moves from New York City to Appleton, Indiana (“The Lamest Place in the World”). Annie Get Your Gun
Based on real-life sharp shooter, Annie Oakley, born Phoebe Anne Moses in Ohio 1860, she performed with Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show. According to Newsday, on July 3, 1922, 62 year old, Annie Oakley gave her final shooting exhibition at the Mineola Race Track. Annie and her husband, Frank Butler rented a house in Amityville in the 1920s. Includes the classic Irving Berlin songs There’s No Business Like Show Business, Anything You Can Do and They Say It’s Wonderful. Trees of Love Lighting Ceremony
Last Hope Animal Rescue will be continuing a holiday tradition at the new shelter, the Last Hope Adoption Center, 3300 Beltagh Ave., Wantagh, from 4 to 7 p.m. Light refreshments will be served after the illumination ceremony. Previous to the lighting of the three decorated trees, participants purchase ribbons for $10 each. Red ribbons honor living pets and silver ribbons memorialize late pets. Pet’s names are written on the ribbons. A third tree is decorated in silver ribbons too, but these are to remember the countless discarded pets throughout the country euthanized each year at overcrowded shelters. Supporters can also purchase these symbolic ribbons. All “Trees of Love” proceeds benefit Last Hope’s rescued dogs and cats plus our community outreach programs such as Fix-A-Feral. A Christmas Carol
Among the holiday tidings and seasonal traditions in Hempstead Town are the Annual Children’s Shows presented by the Department of Parks and Recreation. Leukemia Lymphoma Society Fundraiser

Christmas Eve Dinner for Families in Need
United Skates of America, a roller skating rink, is once again leading the way for small business owners and managers to come together this holiday season for the good of the LI community. United Skates will be hosting the 5th annual dinner for families in need on Christmas Eve this year. Last year’s event was able to serve over 300 people. Business owners and managers are being asked to support the event by donating trays of food, coats, new toys, and helping to find volunteers to help with the event that evening. Event companies can bring down entertainment that evening and help decorate. United Skates is asking that businesses email or call with questions or to inform what their donation for the evening will be. If you a part of a school or organization that would be willing to host a drive for toys, coats, or toiletries, they will all go to great use. Levittown Historical Society and Museum
The organization collects, preserves and educates history of Levittown. Holds seven yearly general meetings in the Community Room of the Levittown Library and maintains the museum located in the Levittown Memorial Education Center, Room 10, 150 Abbey Ln., Levittown. The museum contains history of Levittown, WWII memorabilia, artifacts from the Levitt houses, toys, furniture, clothing of the ‘40s and ‘50s, replicas of the Levitt kitchen and the Levitt ranch living room.
